Get Rid of Cellulite Once and For All

Do you have cellulite? We all do! Over 90% of adult women have cellulite regardless of their weight or lifestyle. Cellulite is just something our body develops over time (more on that later), but you no longer need to live with it.

Not only is The Blonde Injector known for her awesome Botox results and Coolsculpting techniques in the Fort Myers area, but she’s now fighting cellulite too. THE MED SPA™ just welcomed the biggest advancement in cellulite treatments: QWO®. These new, non-invasive injectables actually eliminate cellulite, not just cover it up.

Curious to learn more about QWO® and other cellulite therapies in Florida? Keep reading.

WHAT IS QWO & HOW DOES IT TREAT CELLULITE?

QWO is the very first prescription, FDA-approved injectable specifically designed to treat cellulite. Many other treatments try to improve the appearance of skin, but QWO targets the source that causes cellulite.

It’s injected via a small needle into strategic dimples across the buttocks region. Once it’s administered, QWO uses unique enzymes called collagenases that break down the structures that form cellulite beneath the skin’s surface.

You may be wondering, what is cellulite? That’s next.

WHY DO I HAVE CELLULITE, WHAT IS THIS STUFF?

We all know what cellulite looks like, but what is this cottage-cheese looking stuff under our skin!? Believe it or not, cellulite is NOT fat. It's also not caused by your diet or exercise regime.

Cellulite is a structure that our body forms. It happens when our fibrous connective cords tether the skin to the underlying muscle, leaving a layer of fat lying between. If (or when) fat cells accumulate, they push up against the skin but those tough, fibrous cords pull it down creating that dimpling effect.

As we age, our skin gets thinner and our fat cells enlarge... so that just makes things worse. No amount of spin classes or Weight Watchers will truly help reduce cellulite. It needs to be treated on a deeper level, but now thanks to QWO, we can.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A QWO TREATMENT

The results are amazing. Check out some QWO before and afters HERE. The average patient can see noticable, visible results within 10 weeks, although some patients notice them much earlier.

Depending on how much cellulite you have and how large of an area you’d like to cover, treatment plans can vary. The average patient profits best from 3 treatments, spaced 21 days apart. Thankfully, appointments are as quick as 10 minutes, non-invasive and don’t require any recovery time. Just prepare for a bit of bruising!

MORE AESTHETIC TREATMENTS THAT IMPROVE CELLULITE

QWO is your best defense to improve the appearance of cellulite in the leg region. However, there are other treatments that many patients like to couple with QWO to tighten the skin or lose excess body weight overall.

TIGHTEN SKIN AFTER QWO WITH SUBLIME SKIN LASERS

Lasers don’t just remove unwanted body hair. Modern lasers work wonders to contour the body and tighten the elasticity of skin. Our Sublime™ laser treatments combine safe and effective levels of infrared light and bipolar radiofrequency energies to remodel the dermal layer of the skin by stimulating new collagen growth.

This process treats skin on a deeper level, treating all skin types for sagginess, loss of elasticity, or textural irregularities. Treatment can be done on the face, neck, or other areas of the body. We recommend trying this tightening procedure after QWO injections for extra-smooth legs.

SLIM DOWN WITH PRESCRIPTION WEIGHT LOSS

Cellulite isn’t fat itself, but many patients who are displeased with the look of cellulite also tend to want to lose a few LB’s. The Blonde Injector offers Functional Medicine which includes a weight loss program. We focus on each patient’s total health, and we work with patients to teach them what they need to know to manage their weight. There are multiple approaches tailored to each patient’s unique needs to successfully lose excess weight forever.
